I recently spent a weekend at Dworek in Szonowice, and it was just the escape I needed from the hustle of city life. Nestled in Poland's stunning countryside, the hotel provided a perfect backdrop for exploring the area-there's plenty of opportunities for cycling and even some lovely horse riding excursions. The spacious garden and sun terrace were lovely spots to chill with a Syrah after a day of adventure, and I loved that my room came with a flat-screen TV and private bathroom, offering all the comforts after a long day of exploring. The restaurant served delicious international cuisine, which paired nicely with the friendly atmosphere-great for sharing stories with my fiancée about our day's escapades. Plus, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel made it easy to share some of my photography highlights in real-time. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with access to nature and a bit of history, this lovely gem is well worth the PLN 80 per night!
